Genuine Nietzsche. German original: 'Und verloren sei uns der Tag, wo nicht Ein Mal getanzt wurde! Und falsch heisse uns jede Wahrheit, bei der es nicht Ein Gelaechter gab!' The English here is a common paraphrastic rendering ('we should consider every day lost...') rather than a literal translation of the imperative, but the source is not in doubt.

Beyond Good and Evil aphorism 80 opens 'Was erklaert worden ist, das geht uns Nichts mehr an' - most commonly rendered 'A thing that is explained ceases to concern us.' The corpus wording ('Anything that has been explained ceases to interest us') is a variant translation of the same line, not a separate quotation. Source is secure; only the English rendering differs.
