Genuinely Adams — he used the line repeatedly in life and it appears in the posthumous Salmon of Doubt. The canonical wording is 'I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by.' The version here ('I like the whooshing sound... as they fly by') is the common corrupted variant. Recommend restoring the canonical wording before promotion.
